In 2002 i was asked to perform a world fusion set for the salmon arm roots and blues festival. One of the musicians i was given to work with was calgary based santoor player amir amari. I was given his cds to demo his sound and i connected with one raga in particular , i found this raga blended * mash up style* really nicely with a song i had written for interchill, so i started the mash and came up with this version ., that i send to amir to show him what i thought was possible in the fusion zone.happy to share it here.
